Yo, So wow this a blog. Hey what's up? I'm just some random dude who felt like talking about what I think, how stupid people are and maybe some guys trends.
I have a problem with something though. There's this ridiculous little concept called jeans. Its like a bunch of blue fabric stitched together to make pants. Really strange, but yes unfortunately, it does get worse. These "jean" things are sickly expensive...ok maybe not terribly but more than a jobless teenager can afford. Lets take a look at two different jeans. Click on the link to see them.
The first is Lucky Brand. Yea, okay thats a pretty nice looking jean right there. None of this new pants that look like they fought back in WWII style. Its pretty clean and a little faded but that's the style and I'm cool with it, I think it looks pretty good. Ok well thats add to my little checkout thingy..wow wait a sec, does that say $89!? Yes, yes it does. I'm not just imagining this crap. This is $90 essentially for a piece of clothing your gonna ruin or rip anyways. Seems Ridiculous.
Now lets look at American Eagle. (Reminder to click on the link to see what in gods name I'm talking about) So this is a little darker and a bit more faded into that "dirty" look. No worries though because it's still a nice, not so ripped and torn up like my dog got a hold of it. Its got these cool little faded line up by the pockets which I'm a pretty big fan off. Ok, lets go the checkout on this (yay, pumped to pay another 100 bucks) what? you say no its not 100 dollars? Well well well look at that. This is a barely $30 pair of jeans. I'm buying them.
So this leads me to ask. Why the heck are Lucky Brands so dang expensive. I think its either because of AE massive chainess they can sell for cheap because they sell way more or Lucky Brand just makes a great pair of jeans. (Why is it called a pair anyways?) While I do own a bunch of AE jeans I do also own a pair of Lucky Brands (TJMaxx sale, don't judge me) and I hate to say but Lucky Brand is my favorite pair, even though I'm outgrowing them tragically. So AE tried but, Lucky Brand Jeans does make a Dam good pair of Jeans, but then I never get to wear them because I don't have a 100 bucks to throw away, darn cell phone bill. In the long run all jeans serve the same purpose, so you buy one, you've really just boughten every other jean. Food for thought next time your paying 80 bucks at Hollister. Yes, I just went there.
